Van Gaal is a fan as he would fit their new 3 at the back formation

For arsenal he's not impressed when played outside of central defense and Koscielny and Mertesacker have that locked down. They all like him at Arsenal but Wenger would rather have a youngster as reserve than an more experienced player. 15m is a great deal for Arsenal I think, depending on who they spend it on.
