on the Russians and have been totally silent on the killing of their own civilians by the Ukrainian government, that they've lost sight of the real picture on the ground.

Israel is quite rightly getting brick bats for what they've done in Gaza, while the Ukrainians are bombing and shelling their own civilians without a word of outside criticism.

Putin was never going to sit there and take it, so of course he will retaliate and find ways around our sanctions.
