Thinking about it now, that's not the reason I liked football in the first place and why I loved being taken by my Dad to Carra.

It was the excitement of watching Peters, Paddon, Keelan, Boyer, MacDougal, Forbes, Stringer, Busby etc... the focus was on the players, not John Bond, Mel Machin, Ken Brown etc. They were the orchestrators in the background, quietly going about providing exciting football that we enjoyed watching.
