Can't really blame Hughton

Problem is that when you're a Premier League club you want Premier League players and let guys go who are decent at levels below.

Right now I would like to have him back and I'd also choose Chris Martin over any striker on our books.

But that's our fault for getting relegated, not for selling them in the first place.
