Same old same old

I live halfway between Norwich and Yarmuff which means the nearest supermarket is basically 10 miles away.

There's a huge gap there for something and Blofield/Brundall/Lingwood have already expanded beyond recognition in the last 20 years.

A new supermarket is an absolutely logical next step and there are no proper convenience stores in the village at all anyway - so hardly pulling trade away.

And surely Waitrose *improves* the character of places!
