The inverted wingers thing seems to get a lot of people's goat up but it works for many teams.

Both Snodgrass and Redmond had played on the 'wrong' wing, with success, in the previous two or three seasons. Indeed, last season we started most of the games very well and created early goal scoring opportunities (or we were at least pressing forward). The problem was that once the game settled down and teams had sussed us out we didn't change it for long enough. I doubt we swapped our wingers over for more than 9 minutes in any game.
