I went on a family holiday a while back and a few places stood out

Firstly, the Jules Verne museum. It's very vivid and certainly inspired me to get into his novels. Secondly, the planetarium is ace and absolutely great for kids I think. Thirdly, the LU tower in the centre has some nice views and will give you a bit of exercise. And buy some of the petit beurres biscuits, they're delish.
