I'm not overly concerned with losing players now, it's January where we need to have a

firm stance, because losing key players then, could really w**ker our chances of promotion.

I think it's January which will pose the greatest threat of key players leaving. Especially those players that are 'tearing up' the chumps and those Prem teams in desperate need for someone.

Those players will have been key to our success (hopefully) thus far. They will have been an integral part of the team up to that point and losing them, no matter how big the bid, would have a bigger impact than losing players now, would. That is without even mentioning, less time to get in replacements, inflated prices and trying to get new players to gel part way through the season.
