The only thing I remember from the half terms worth

of economics I did at University in 1980 was the lecturer saying that for as long as he could remember the planet had only had about 20 years' worth of oil left.
And here we still are, with oil running out. Personally I think it'll last until the capitalists find something they can make even more money from.
