As an economist, I have no problem with the notion of prices being determined by demand and supply - for most things.

But football is a bit different, I think. Because it's also about community, and about preserving something for the future.

Maybe it's all OK, because of lower renewal prices, cheaper prices for kids etc. But it does make me a bit uncomfortable if we really are that much more expensive than everyone else. Even if we do still sell a lot this season.
