Don't agree with that at all. Loads and loads of clubs have gone down and then struggled, including plenty with 'decent squads', at least on paper.

Dunno whether that's because confidence plays such a big part, or players who've done OK in the prem are generally over-rated, or players in the champs are generally under-related. But whatever the reason, think it's ignoring history to assume that we can challenge for play-off place by right.
