Calm down everyone
Actually there have been grumblings about Thomas the Tank Engine for years.
It *is* old fashioned, authoritarian and patriachal. It's down on women, punishes inquisitiveness and has clear class divides. All this is presented as a good thing. This is well known and undersood.
Funny thing is though, children with autism love it!
