At the time, I may not have been old enough to go to night clubs...

I received a spam leaflet though the post to go on a minibus to London to the Houses of Parliament, sit through Liberal leader David Steel talking a load of rubbish, and FREE ENTRY TO A FAMOUS LONDON NIGHTCLUB.

I tipped off a couple of mates and off we went. I had the sensible idea to drink quite a lot before going into the club.

We got in the night club and I can remember it being ?3 for half a pint of beer and that was nearly 30 years ago. My mates were p'd off that they hadn't started drinking earlier, but I had.

Somehow I ended up with an actress asking me back to her place for the night. I declined because of 2 reasons. There was a lady on the mini bus that was hotter. Besides, I was skint and I didn't even have the money to get home from London if I missed the minibus.

On the way back in the early hours the minibus stopped off at a service station. I got some chips n beans and offered some to the hot lady... on the back of the minibus... ahem... I went out with her for a few weeks.
