No side is relentlessly awesome throughout a tournament

However they've beaten a decent France side and put 11 goals past Brazil and Portugal.

They are the stand out team in the tournament, while Argentina are not reallythat much better (if at all) than Holland, Colombia, France or Chile.

Most of Germany's games have actually been pretty entertaining. Meanwhile Argentina have played one game which was vaguely enjoyable (Nigeria) and four which were pretty awful (Iran, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland).

They're not as horrible as the 1990 team but not a patch on the 78 and 86 sides. The 2006 side were also better but Peckerman f**ked it up in the quarter-finals.
