A friend of mine is a Bolton fan

and was seriosuly pissed when Bolton sold him to us. Reckoned that he was a "top" player for them. Solid performances week in week out. So, it begs the question. Why do we turn good players into s**te players? Look at the squad we have, riddled through with Internationals (ok many are under21, etc) but seriously, we have a squad on paper that should waltz its way to promotion and instead we are all crapping ourselves over possible relegation.
I watched Everton v West Ham with an Evertonian mate of mine, they looked just like us. Players that were seriously short on confidence and had no clue what they were supposed to be doing. They couldn't find a team mate half the time and were beaten at home by a very ordinary Hammers side. Ring any bells?
