With no doubt mistakes and mis-steps on both sides. And it's at the root of why Wiggins couldn't ride for Froome at this year's Tour. You have to remember that cycling as a team sport is very different to football though. In the end, a domestique has to give and sacrifice everything for the leader - who is the one who gets all the glory.

Wiggins felt Froome didn't do that. Whereas Froome - and I think most observers - would say that Wiggins was very lucky to have him that year. But either way, they fell out over it pretty badly, despite Wiggins winning it, and all that followed for him. Pretty major event in both their careers.
