It is no longer the be-all and end-all of who's the best to be #1 - It's more about who is marketed the best. It's no longer a reflection of what song the nation is listening to, It's more a reflection of what we are being forced to listen to.
I no longer take the charts seriously, but in saying that, I'm always interested in who is Christmas #1.
