I don't have much idea regarding the relative merits of the coffee; I've tried Nespresso a couple of times and it was good, but I'm no expert.

The main point was that, in the original post, King was thinking of going for a Nespresso partly because it was a chepaer option - which it probably isn't in the medium/long term.
