I think you've fallen for the 'more pressure equals better coffee' sales flannel here...

Steve is right - 9 bar pure pressure is about right. A lot of machines, including mine, state they reach 15, but in reality they get to about 10-12, which is in a decent range.

19 is just not necessary - and you don't have to just take my word for it...
