I suppose it's because he's been around on this board

for over a decade, and is regarded as part of the Roth furniture. Those that have been around for a similar length of time know who he is, where he's from, and to a certain extent what he's about. I suspect for those kind of reasons that he's been tolerated more than the recent influx of trolls and hydras that have infected this community with their predilection of disruptive behaviour.

It would appear that alcohol played its part in his sporadic outbursts last night. I'm old and grumpy as it is, but I have become increasingly wearied by the constant barrage of anonymous users with a sole agenda to provoke extreme reactions to fuel their warped egos. I guess pants part in this is more exacerbated now?

This once used to be a vibrant community whereby people were honest in their views, enjoyed banter, debate and were just themselves. That community has slowly been eroded in recent times, it's no wonder that good people choose not to participate and engage any more.
