I think Ferguson is right

and I think it's ridiculous that he's getting so much criticism - they are third in the league for heaven's sake and in any normal, pre Chelsea, era they'd be bang in contention for the Premiership.

So they went out of Europe in the group stage - big deal. It's the first time in 11 years - isn't everyone allowed one failure?
