If I understand Clare correctly, the reason we can't sack Worthington is that he has wasted all our money on the likes of Old Mr Thorne so now we can't afford to.
Shirley the solution is to kneecap old Mr Thorne and use the insurance compo o pay off Worthless and his sidekicks?
