is one of the highest qualified managers around and HAS been very successful for us in the past. I'm not going to call anyone fickle or live off past success BUT the board have a very tough decision, sack a proven manager in favour of an unknown quantity and lose a small fortune in the process OR gamble on the current manager regaining some of his previous success.
I know what most of you here would do but I also know if I was on the board and had pumped in millions of pounds I would not be so quick to call for a sacking knowing that it might not work and that it would mean me forking out even more money.
