Car flags

Finally getting World Cup fever now as 7 year old grandson is beside himself. He stays with indulgent grandparents as Mum and Dad are too cool for footie.

Was going to put a couple of flags on the car for when we pick him up but Mrs O has bought 4 and is demanding they are all used - though not on her car interestingly!

What are the protocols as I feel a bit of a tw*t , especially when grandson isn't actually in the car, and I don't want my collar felt by the taste police?
