I remember being completely shocked that they could jump tackle against Denmark

That was the first group game, and I was really hoping they wouldn't get out of the group playing like that

Then they advanced quite far. The game against Brazil this tactic worked a treat, as Brazil didn't keep their cool and foul play dominated

Then in the final when Webb decided that De Jong's karate keep to Alonso's chest was only a yellow, I was completely horrified that disgusting football could mean world champions

As it happened, their Leeds Utd way of playing collasped on top of them and skill won

If they're not going to be like this at the 2014 tourny, brilliant, but if that's their 'A' game again (like that Portugal v Holland match with 17 yellows), then I'll look to them being out first

Looking forward to the footy, not cheap second rate ways of winning
