I did the 3 day First Aid at Work Course - it costs around ?295

and lasts for 3 year before you need a refresher
(although the more you practice the more confident you feel)
I also did a half day defibrillator course which is really good - the machine tells you what you need to do

What you need to remember is it is first aid - if you act within your training you will not be sued by anyone - don't attempt a trachictomy with a pen just because you saw it done on the telly!!
