Whitley bay - I've lived here
North Shields - and here
Monkseaton -and here
Heaton

All within 5-10 mins drive of cobalt business park. I get my car services at Audi there.

Avoid:
Battle hill
Howden
Wallsend can be ok but hit and miss
Walker
Byker

If you do a search on right move website for rental properties, you'll get a good idea of costs. I was paying ?500pm for a nice 2 bed flat in monkseaton.
