Excellent choice, I was going to recommend that. One thing.

Ladybower to Hope Valley via Bamford gets occasionally very very downhill. Conversely, the other way is quite uphill. Duh.

Not all the way, but there's a stretch in the village of Bamford itself which is quite fierce.

If that makes any diffus or not ...
