Things you don't want to hear from your pilot...

"The fog hasn't lifted yet but we're going to give it a go (landing the plane) and see what happens."

My pilot this morning after dense low lying fog caused us to circle above Emerald for 1.5hrs. We tried two approaches and bailed out last minute and then finally got down on the third, just as we were about to divert to Rockhampton. Squeaky bum time fo sho.
