15 weeks is quite old to get a puppy; between 7-9 weeks is more normal, so unfortunately for you,she'll be more set in her ways and therefore take more time to get used to your way of doing things.
Dogs are naturally pack animals, so she needs to learn that you are the leader of her pack and what he say goes! If she doesn't settle down within a few nights, I would strongly recommend getting a dog crate (cage) to put her in at night. Get one plenty big enough then you can use part of it to assist with toilet training. Once she knows this is her space, her den, she will go there of her own accord, especially if you put her bed inside. What breed is she out of interest?
