he doesn't owe us anything - particularly after we told Chelsea to go away last year (and given he didn't make the WC squad, as well).

Guess he has (maybe) three choices:
- go and be no. 2 at a Big Club (if one wants him)
- go and be no.1 at a bottom half scrapping-against-relegation club. Again.
- stay with us and try and get back up.

the first 2 would be better for his bank balance. The 3rd for life stability 'n that, perhaps. Has he got kids, for example?

Who knows, anyway.
