That Argentina side was a very decent outfit as they proved by beating the Netherlands in the final, they were a bit unsporting before the game regarding van de Kerkhof's plaster cast and making the Dutch wait though. Few would deny Maradona deserved to win the 1986 World Cup. The cheating in 1990 was Argentina at their worst especially the drugging of Dunga but it all ended in tears.
