Made me wonder what you're actually supposed to do if you're in a defensive wall. The guy jumped, and he hardly raised his arms at all - his hands were only a few inches from his side. Once he'd jumped there was absolutely no way he could have got out of the way of the ball, as far as I could see.
Why are these given nowadays? I assume FIFA / the refs are trying to stop people deliberately raising their arms to give themselves a better chance to block the ball. But I didn't think he was doing that at all last night.
Actually I don't think Rennie was actually bent last night. He's just a ref who seems to get the big calls wrong.
