Mostly very different situations

Rodgers was at a mid table Watford side who had no money. He then went to Reading and failed miserably before he found himself as a manager.

Hughton had been an assistant prem coach for years and had many spells as a prem caretaker manager. He also had an incredible squad when he took Newcastle back up. Our current squad doesn't compare.

Pearson kept Southampton up with a few games in charge in 07/08. He was then given the Leicester job in league one in 08/09 and won the league with them. Pearson actually proved something at a club that were desperate and lacked options, before being giving the opportunity at another club that he had earned. This is nothing like the Adams situation because Adams hasn't proved anything much in his s**t or bust situation.

Nigel Adkins...I'll give you that one. Hopefully Adams is another Adkins!
