I agree, but the credibility of the manager affects transfers

it's going to be a lot harder to convince potential players to come and play for a manager who might well be gone within 6 months, OR to convince wantaway players that they should stay.
IMO we needed to make a big positive statement with this appointment. We've made a statement alright
