I don't blame him for wanting to leave but

First and foremost I'm a Norwich fan which obviously means I am only interested in Norwich doing well and don't really give a s**t whether Ashton plays for England or not. Although he has been disappointing this season he is still a quality player who is being made to look ordinary by the ineptness of his team mates and if we lose quality we are going backwards from what we have now. It has now become obvious that he will leave in January, the question is for how much and where. It does annoy me how a player can sign an improved contract for more money in August and still jump ship a few months later, imo Deano could afford to give us another seaon to get in the prem before jumping ship, he's still only 22 and has many years left in the game. On the plus side if we get 8 million for him we could rebuild the team, the only worry is that we will struggle to attract the right players in our current predicament.
