It was all doom and gloom in the pub beforehand but for once we actually tried to the take the game to the opposition from the start.
Unfortunately we fell behind to Crewes first real attack and then we lapsed back into the kind of crap all too familar to those unfortunate enough to have been regular away travellers this season.
I really don't know what Robinson brings to the team, all he seems to do is pass the ball on the bloke next to him, the one time in the first half he tried something more daring the ball flew into the stand with the nearest Norwich player about 30 yards away. A classic "water carrier"
In his defence you could say there was never a Norwich player anywhere either wing in the 1st half.
Quite clearly a midfield containing Robinson, Etuhu and Hughes is gonna take us nowhere.
We all thought Hucks would come on h/t but alas not, when he did eventually come on the it made all the difference.
Hucks ran at defenders and we generally upped the tempo, Crewe still looked dangerous on the break but it was only a matter of time before we scored.
Who'd have thought McVeigh would score with 2 headers.
At the end Worthy was estastic hunting down every player to shake hands with and hug them, he didn't acknowledge the loyal fans in the stand opposite.
