the funny thing about the Roeder/Gunn relegation season,,

is that we actually generally played pretty entertaining football and were involved in quite a few high scoring games (remember those two games against Wolves) , with only one 0-0 draw in 46 games. Also we were almost always competitive (I don't think we lost a game by a margin of more than 2 goals all season).

Just goes to show that for all the talk of style of football being important ultimately results are everything. If you lose 3-2 every week people will NOT remember the season fondly, they will remember it as a hopeless horrible nightmare!
