DEVELOPMENT has to be the club philosophy. Get them playing the same way from the 8 year olds on up to the first team. Emphasize speed and skill. This club does not have the financial base to buy success, it has to develop it. Years ago we wanted to follow the Charlton model. Now we need to model Southampton.
