We aren't flush enough with cash to give up on a big signing after 4 months

It can take longer than that for a player to bed in (remember Iwan). We are a financially poor club by Prem standards without a sugar daddy and can't just spunk ?8m left right and centre all the time because a player is out if form. That's the reality.
