He makes a very good living out of knowing exactly what he's saying and how to say it.

None of that makes him racist, but none of that makes it a slip of the tongue either.

It was an attempt at a very s**tty joke in which he plays up to his own over the top persona. The idea that he doesn't have the brain power to change his mumbles is laughable.
