Anyone remember Steve Goble?

Was in a bar last night in Groningen and met Steve Goble who played for Norwich in the Late 70s,which is unfortunately before my time, but was just wondering if anyone remembered him?

Really nice guy - very modest about everything. Said he was best mates with Justin Fashnu and that they came up through the ranks together

Unfortunately I made a complete arse of myself as when he was leaving I thanked his partner for disrupting their conversation and talking to Steve about NCFC.

The "Partner" replied, "Thats not my partner, thats my father" and I just looked very stupid and embarrassed.
