I never understood why

We would be signing any targetman in their 30s when we already have one in his late teens. His name is Ryan Jarvis.

He's got all the skills to be a good centre-forward and he's surely of the age now where he either has to make the grade or be shipped out. He's not got a lot of pace, but if he learns his trade as a centre-forward properly, he doesn't need it.

Young, cheap, and with s**tloads to prove. So why are we buying some exorbitantly expensive old crock?
