Really took the game to them and would probably have drawn if it wasn't for BJ's terrible pass and a huge deflection. Might even have snuck a win.
It's really difficult to judge Adams because he hasn't had a chance to prove himself against the teams that matter - the Fulham game came too soon though we played better and were a tad unlucky to lose. (I'd also argue that he made too many changes to line up & tactics. I think that paid off to an extent against Liverpool and might yet in the last three games; but I think it was too much for a must-not-lose game)
That he's inexperienced at this level is all too true of course; but I think of all the other managers that get mentioned and might be available to us (and there's even less if we go down) and I'm not really enthused by any of them. Most are failures in one way or another.
I'd say if we go down; but with the style and intent demonstrated second half against Liverpool then give him the job. If we stay up then try to attract a top (whatever that means) manager and appoint him as a coach or assistant. Then when we all hate the new guy sack him and promote Adams.
