I'm just pointing out it's very easy to actually believe what you want, we've been very guilty of it a few times

Look at Peter Thorne, there isn't a coach here who slagged the guy off. Just about anybody within the club commented about how much he got involved and a decent pro he was

What about the fans? Oh yeah, again, he wasn't playing to bring the club to it's knees financially, whilst he was living it up surfing

People like to believe what they want, and quit often they genuinely think what they think is fact

I was in town yesterday, and 900 Bury fans descended onto York, and kicked off in various bars. Police everywhere

I bet if I went on a Bury forum, they'd deny it outright, or would have various versions of how drunken pricks dirtying my city were actually behaving like other international tourists
