After going to the majority of away games last season I was pissed off that we were incapable of playing the basics. On numerous occasions we adopted a tactiv of giving time and space to world class players - this comes from the manager.
The same thing is happening this season. We leaked goals for fun last season and still the defence wasn't blostered this season. The only additions were Jean and Colin, one was always average, the other still has potential. We let go a player who we knew could do te job and do it well. Again - managers decision.
He favours hard work over quality. This keeping the likes of Safri and Helveg on the bench. He brings them into the team and we start picking up a few more points but it's too late.
There are a lot of managers out there who would take the Norwich job and as long as it's someone who can get the team fighting, playing it on the floor and actually doing something exciting for a change then I'm all for it.
The example of other management changes is a non-starter. Hart had all his best players leave through no fault of his own, he then wasn't given anything to replace them. Pardew had to suffer impatient hammers fans but still had them there or thereabouts despite the feact he had to rebuild a team. Burley had just run his course with Ipswich, Royle has done a great job under the circumstances. Any club who loses three players who scored 50 goals will struggle when they can't replace them.
