Hence Canal+ pulled out, and Manure were ripe for the picking by Glazer.

Having said that, Abramovich is part owner of Dynamo Moscow (or Spartak - can't remember which), and they were even drawn in the same bloody group as Chelsea in the group stage last year. Maybe he gets around it by claiming one of his relatives is the real owner, etc.
