They still are/will be.

They tried to let go a while ago when things were last s**tty and found they couldn't, so I'd anticipate that they'll let nature run it's course. Actually, they wouldn't would they as then it's a risk what happens if it's out of their control. I presume then they'd find a suitable suitor once they feel they're entering their twilight years. I think it'd frustrate them too much if they've still got plenty of life left in them but have taken a step away from the board and so can't affect things/see changes they're not happy with but are now powerless to stop. Better to stay in overall control until they feel too weak to do it justice.
