So the manager signs them, coaches them, motivates them, disciplines them, trains them and generally has the first, middle, and last word on everything and anything to do with the first team squad...?

But when they get out there on the pitch its not down to him (!), its down to the players and players alone!!!

Feck me, Leon has got it spot on, why have we got one then, more to the point, why have we got THIS one still?
