It is absolutely true that we don't like each other very much which, ultimately, is a great shame because we are both Norwich supporters and, after all, it is only a messageboard.

However, I'm sure it won't really come as any surprise that I don't really recognise the person being described in what is quite the most remarkable personal attack.

My issues with you pants are long, detailed, considered and legitimate. They stem from the views you hold and the way you express them. But no, it is not by any stretch of the imagination a vendetta and never has been and - quite obviously - I could post literally hundreds of examples to unequivocally prove that point.

Saturday? Well, wow, it was a bloody dark day. Should I have posted 'TIME OF OUR FUCKING LIVES'? Clearly this post from you suggests I shouldn't and Ralf was right about that I suppose. But it certainly wasn't intended to rile a poster who, as far as I was concerned, simply does not visit this site any more. On my life, it was borne of pure exasperation and nothing more.

Is there any further context? Well I have not mentioned, referred to or discussed you, pants, in any way since your last post. Not a word. Perhaps you were just waiting until I did so you could unleash this invective. Sorry, I had disappointed you for so long.

This is all pretty nasty stuff and believe it or not, I did kind of hope you would return one day, wipe the slate clean and be welcomed back as a poster for whom many people have a lot of time. Instead we get this - a clear and determined escalation of hostilities which really, really could and should have been avoided.
